In our first year of eligibility, Katya Vineyards received the Golden Spoon — presented annually to the best restaurants in the country. We were the only fine-dining establishment among 125 in Florida honored as both a “Gourmet” restaurant and a “Fine Wine Tasting” room. It joined the 2021 Florida Winery of the Year, Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence, and the World’s Best Wine Lists Jury Prize on the wall.
Certified Japanese Olive Wagyu (A5, BMS 12+) — from a micro-farm herd of about 1,700 cattle raised on toasted olives by the Seto Inland Sea — is flown directly from Japan to our kitchen. It might be the rarest steak on the planet, and it’s served in downtown Ocala. Read the whole story.
A wonderful evening with Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez, and their extended family on the historic square. Ms. Lopez and Mr. Rodriguez were the epitome of kindness and grace — we truly enjoyed our time with them.
